Myra Montejano – Transportation Planning Department Manager
Ms. Montejano manages R&D’s Transportation Planning Department that consists of Scheduling, Contracts Administration, and Vendor Billing Services. Prior to joining R&D, Ms. Montejano served as the Transit Specialist for Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC). Myra has a comprehensive transit planning background that includes policy implementation, contract oversight, and strong customer service focus.
Marie Marchese-Bulatao – Regional Manager, Northern California
We are proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Marie Marchese-Bulatao to R&D’s Regional Manager Position. In this capacity, Marie is responsible for managing R&D’s field operations activities including Quality Assurance and Travel Training services for our Northern California region. Prior to this position, Marie served as R&D’s Travel Training Department Manager where Marie was instrumental in developing the company’s Travel Training curriculum to support our Regional Center’s person-centered mission. Before joining R&D, Marie held the position of Mobility Management Specialist; a role that reinforced Marie’s appreciation for the positive impact that Paratransit services offer to connect individuals with community life. Marie brings a comprehensive background to this new role as Regional Manager, having performed important field work to represent under-served populations in the areas of public health and most recently in her commitment to improve transit options and accessibility for people with physical, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities. To this end, Marie has served on Muni’s Accessibility Advisory Committee, as a Regional Mobility Management Group member, and has served on MTC’s Policy Advisory Committee.
Mr. Ziegler started his career as a School Bus Driver for Special Ed students. Subsequently he worked as a dispatcher, then as a Scheduler and Terminal Manager for a Laidlaw Transit where he worked in support of their contract with the San Gabriel and Pomona Regional Centers. He began working for R&D LLC as the Dispatch Manager from June 1997 to December 1998. In August of 2000 Eugene commenced his position as a Scheduler at R&D but was also quickly recognized for his superior computer tech skills. In 2004, he was officially promoted to Management Analyst and in 2005 he assumed the duties of the IT Department where he put into practice his programming expertise in VBA to convert the old Billing and Scheduling procedures from Lotus 123. He now keeps up the maintenance on all technical networks including telephone systems, Billing Authorizations and Reports for the Regional Centers and School Districts.
Anel Renteria – Customer Service Department Manager
Ms. Anel Renteria manages R&D’s Customer Service Department. Anel joined the company in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative, and supervised the department for nearly five years before her most recent appointment. During this time, Anel has supported the department to achieve a customer satisfaction rating that consistently exceeded 98% five years in a row. Anel’s person-centered thinking, proven track record, leadership skills, and customer focused approach are attributes that have been recognized by peers, colleagues, and customers throughout her tenure at R&D.
